Coming off a sold-out two night run at The Ogden last summer (read our review here), CAKE is returning to Denver to play Red Rocks Amphitheatre in July. The band hasn’t taken the stage between the rocks since they headlined the Monolith Music Festival back in 2007, and this time around they will be welcoming Denver’s new darlings, The Lumineers, as their support act. While CAKE has been around for more than 20 years, The Lumineers are relatively new to the scene having only released their debut record last week (read a conversation we had with Neyla Pekarek here). The album shot up the charts and these guys are attracting a ton of attention. Don’t miss this show!
