On May 20th the experience of seeing Led Zeppelin in concert will be recreated at The Ogden Theatre by Jason Bonham, the son of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer, John “Bonzo” Bonham. Tickets are $35.00 – $40.00 and will be available on Saturday March 19th at 10am here.
In honor of his father, Jason has put together a tribute tour to honor John Bonham, one of the greatest drummers in the history of rock. The certifiably righteous musicians he’s assembled for the band are guitarist Tony Catania, vocalist James Dylan, bassist Michael Devlin and keyboardist/pedal-steel guitarist Stephen LeBlanc.
Not only do they dig into Led Zeppelin’s golden catalog, the concert takes it to the next level by utilizing a state-of-the-art sound system incorporated with a stellar light show, making for an unparalleled experience. The use of large-screens, home video footage and key photos combined with a cosmic live concert lets the audience share in Jason’s remarkable past and present. Critics are already raving about the tour. Ritchie York of Rolling Stone stated “The Led Zeppelin magic was in full effect.” What better way to spend an evening than to be transported to a different plane through the music of the Mighty Zepp? Orchestrated by Jason with care and love, it should be a one-of-a-kind experience.
Wish I still lived in CO, I would go see these guys..well done!
