On First Friday, November 2, 2012, in Denver’s Santa Fe Arts District, Anthology Fine Art will feature the gallery show “Front Row: Concert Photography by Kit Chalberg,” a 21-piece collection of live concert photography by Denver-based photographer Kit Chalberg. An official photographer for the Jim Beam Live Music Series, contributor for the Denver Post, Listen Up Denver!, and The Pier, and a professional photojournalist, Chalberg has created images of musicians such as B.B. King, The Civil Wars, Gov’t Mule, Brandi Carlile, Ziggy Marley, and Michael Franti and Spearhead—and has worked countless other concerts throughout Colorado over the past three years. Chalberg’s approach and perspective have set him apart in the concert photography world. “Front Row” is an exclusive opportunity to see his work in a public setting. Chalberg’s photos will be displayed from November 2, 2012 until December 22, 2012.
In addition, Chalberg has announced a very special concert event to coincide with his gallery show. On Friday November 16, 2012 Anthology Fine Art and Kit Chalberg Photography present “Rob Drabkin with Special Guest Tim Bruns of Churchill.”
Chalberg and Anthology Fine Art will host intimate, acoustic performances by local musicians Rob Drabkin and Tim Bruns of Churchill at the gallery, located at 635 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO. The 21 and over show begins at 8 pm and pre-sale tickets are available for $8.00. Please note that only 80 tickets will be sold so act fast!
