Estimated read time 1 min read

In 2008, Widespread Panic made a generous donation to the Make It Right Foundation to help build sustainable housing in areas of New Orleans devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Fans then created “The House that Widespread Panic Fans Built” through Make It Right to match the band’s contribution, and have raised over $41,000 towards a goal of $150,000.

The details of the summer raffle are below and there are only two days left to enter!

This raffle is open for entries until Friday, May 20th. The winner will be announced Monday, May 23rd.

There will be one grand prize for this raffle. The lucky winner will receive:

2 tickets and 2 VIP passes to the sold out Red Rocks shows on June 24,25,26

Help the band provide a family a new home as a way to repay the hospitality New Orleans has shown to the Panic community over the years.

Good luck in the raffle!

Music has always been a part of my life. It probably all started listening to old Grateful Dead, Peter Paul & Mary, and Simon & Garfunkel records that my parents had, but it wasn't long before they were taking me to concerts like Starship, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Huey Lewis & The News. I got the bug to write about music after reviewing an Eric Clapton concert for a creative writing project in high school but didn't really take it up seriously until 2002. Since then I have published countless articles in The Marquee Magazine and done some work for Jambase.com, SPIN Magazine, and various other outlets. I started Listen Up Denver! as a way to share the music information that is constantly spilling out of my head with people who care. Please enjoy!
