Foster The People to Play In-Store At Twist & Shout

Twist and Shout has announced that Foster The People will be performing in the store on June 8th at 6:30 PM, the same day they take the stage before an already sold-out crowd at the Bluebird. If you don’t have your tickets for The Bluebird show, this is your chance to catch these guy live and in person!

The band is best known for their song “Pumped Up Kicks” and despite the fact that their debut record is only hitting shelves today, they has already managed to cause quite a stir as evidenced by their shows selling out across the country. The evening at Twist will consist of a short set followed by a signing.

It probably all started listening to old Grateful Dead, Peter Paul & Mary, and Simon & Garfunkel records that my parents had, but it wasn't long before they were taking me to concerts like Starship, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Huey Lewis & The News.
