Matt Skellenger and company are back at Dazzle Jazz Club next Thursday and Friday October 8th and 9th to celebrate Dave Miller’s Birthday! Both nights we will play 2 shows at 7pm and 9pm, but the music will be different each night.

The musicians for both nights will be:
Adam Bartczak – trombone and conch shell
Dave Miller – drum set, electronics, tabla and ghatam
Andy Skellenger – cajon, tabla and udu
Matt Skellenger – electric bass
Glenn Taylor – Pedal Steel Guitar
Special Guest Greg Harris – Vibes and Keys
The show on Thursday is The Orchid Set Live Band:
Keeping it fresh and funky under the musical direction of Dave Miller, The Orchid Set Live band presents a night of music inspired by jazz, fusion, funk, hip hop and world beats. Don’t miss this eclectic night of music.
The Show on Friday is The Matt Skellenger Group:
This unique group fuses elements of jazz and world music. The group released their third studio album, New Radio, in November of 2014. It was recorded at Notably Fine Audio by Colin Bricker and it also features Ron Miles on Cornet.
Nate Todd

Nate Todd was born on the central plains of Nebraska, but grew up on the high plains of the Texas panhandle. With not much to do in either place, music was his constant companion. His parents dubbed the first two albums he ever owned onto a tape for him. Side A was Bert and Ernie’s Sing Along. Side B was Sgt. Peppers. His lifelong love affair with music started early as he practically grew up in a Rock & Roll band, with his father and uncle often taking him out on the road or into the studio with them. Nate began performing live at sixteen and hasn’t looked back, having played in numerous bands from L.A. to Austin. At the age of twenty he was bitten by the writing bug, and upon moving to Denver decided to pursue a degree from Metropolitan State University where he recently graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in Cinema Studies.
