The 5th Annual RIDE Festival, to be held at Telluride Town Park, is proud to announce its initial artist lineup. Since 2012, The RIDE Festival has featured renowned rock and roll icons along with some of current music’s finest emerging talent. The RIDE Festival merges seamlessly into its stunning mountain setting for a world-class, weekend-long destination music experience.

The RIDE Festival 2016 welcomes headliner PEARL JAM who will be performing in Telluride for the first time on July 9. Fellow rockers Cage The Elephant will headline on July 10.

Joining them on the bill are The Temperance Movement, Jerry Joseph & The Jackmormons, HoneyHoney and others. The list of announced artists is below with more incredible talent still to be revealed.

The NightRIDE – when music spills off the Main Stage from Telluride’s Town Park into local venues along Main Street for late night shows – will return again this year. The Sheridan Opera House, The Roma Bar and additional local venues will host intimate performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.

NightRIDE shows are free to RIDE Festival ticket-holders (first come, first served), except for The Sheridan Opera House. Stay tuned for The NightRIDE lineup and schedule at www.RIDEfestival.com.

Campground directly adjacent to the festival site, Lawson Hill Campground located three miles from the festival grounds, and beautiful Illium Valley Campground located five miles from the festival. The RIDE provides free transportation to and from all campgrounds.

There is also free public transportation throughout Telluride & Mountain Village via the Gondola, Galloping Goose Bus and Dial-A-Ride all with extended hours.

A major beneficiary of The RIDE Festival is Telluride’s own beloved KOTOfm, one of the country’s last remaining non-commercial, non-underwritten radio stations. Listen to KOTOfm’s unique programming at www.KOTO.org.

The RIDE Festival’s close proximity to the many outdoor activities that Telluride and southwestern Colorado have to offer make the festival a unique destination event. Attendees can enjoy hiking, rafting, fishing, biking, hot springs, and so much more – all in a truly majestic setting.

Nate Todd

Nate Todd was born on the central plains of Nebraska, but grew up on the high plains of the Texas panhandle. With not much to do in either place, music was his constant companion. His parents dubbed the first two albums he ever owned onto a tape for him. Side A was Bert and Ernie’s Sing Along. Side B was Sgt. Peppers. His lifelong love affair with music started early as he practically grew up in a Rock & Roll band, with his father and uncle often taking him out on the road or into the studio with them. Nate began performing live at sixteen and hasn’t looked back, having played in numerous bands from L.A. to Austin. At the age of twenty he was bitten by the writing bug, and upon moving to Denver decided to pursue a degree from Metropolitan State University where he recently graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in Cinema Studies.
