Gramatik

Why You Should Go: Gramatik returns to Colorado for a headline performance at Red Rocks on Friday, June 17. It marks his follow-up appearance to the world-famous venue after last year’s sold out show when the Slovenia-born, NYC-based electro producer took the stage in the face of a blizzard. The event was later dubbed “Blizzmatik.”  Gramatik will be joined by ProbCause, Hippie Sabotage, Sweater Beats, and The Geek X VRV. You don’t want to miss Gramatik’s triumphant return to Red Rocks this summer!

Gramatik is touring in support of Epigram, his 12th record (Lowtemp Music), which saw its release this March. He delivered a gritty, genre-skipping statement of intent, creating “a whirlwind of genres that span hip-hop, funk, jazz, trap, dubstep, and everything in-between.” (Huffington Post). Across Epigram’s ten tracks, Gramatik blends his signature sounds while infusing glitch-bass and fire collaborations with Wu-Tang Clan’s RaekwonProbCause, and more. Perhaps this is how Gramatik has become “one of festival season’s biggest names.” (Free Williamsburg).

Nate Todd

Nate Todd was born on the central plains of Nebraska, but grew up on the high plains of the Texas panhandle. With not much to do in either place, music was his constant companion. His parents dubbed the first two albums he ever owned onto a tape for him. Side A was Bert and Ernie’s Sing Along. Side B was Sgt. Peppers. His lifelong love affair with music started early as he practically grew up in a Rock & Roll band, with his father and uncle often taking him out on the road or into the studio with them. Nate began performing live at sixteen and hasn’t looked back, having played in numerous bands from L.A. to Austin. At the age of twenty he was bitten by the writing bug, and upon moving to Denver decided to pursue a degree from Metropolitan State University where he recently graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in Cinema Studies.
