Why You Should Go: Trouble Will Find Me, the most self-assured collection of songs produced by The National in its 14-year career, is a tribute to fully evolved artistic vision — and, somewhat less mystically, to sleep deprivation.  Though the album is three years old now, the band is in as fine form as ever having spent much of the Spring and early Summer (when they weren’t playing festivals all over the world) in the studio recording the follow-up.

Members of The National have also be in the news recently due to the release of the 59 track compilation album, Day of The Dead, that was created and curated by band members (and brothers) Aaron and Bryce Dessner. The album is a wide-ranging tribute to the songwriting and experimentalism of the Grateful Dead which took four years to record and features over 60 artists from varied musical backgrounds.  With Real Estate opening, and the show taking place within the beautiful confines of Red Rocks, this is a must see show!
