Daryl Hall & John Oates are currently on a stadium tour of the US, making last Monday’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre show one of the most intimate performances on the schedule. Holding the title of best selling duo in history, the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame inductees packed the Rocks with vigorous fans wanting a hit parade performance that few can do like Hall & Oates. The sold-out show was filled with a largely middle aged audience who, despite not being familiar with the supporting acts, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings followed by Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, totally went crazy during each set. By all accounts the show was nothing short of satisfying with hit song after hit song raining down on Colorado’s crown jewel venue.
