String Cheese Incident to Play Festival In Michigan July 4th Weekend

String Cheese Incident made a cryptic announcement today that alludes to a festival performance on the Double JJ Resort in Rothbury, Michigan over Fourth of July weekend.

From SCI’s Facebook page: “We’ve made our 4th of July plans…see you in the forest!”

There is no mention of an official Rothbury Festival, and with the website registered under the name “Electric Forest Festival,” our speculation is that this will be a SCI headlined festival with other performers in the spirit of other Festivals that SCI has organized in the past. SCI reunited in 2009 at The Rothbury Festival (after a special warm-up show right here in Denver at The Ogden).

Looks like more details will be announced via www.electricforestfestival.com on the 28th of February.
