Tapes ‘N Tapes – August 18th – The Bluebird Theatre

When they hit the stage on Thursday at The Bluebird, Tapes ‘n Tapes came off as a humble everyman band that just wanted to rock out and have fun. Even through some sound issues no looks of frustration or disappointment ever crossed their faces. They were genuinely happy to be in Denver and playing their raw and raucous music to an appreciative crowd.

The Dear Hunter – July 20th – The Summit Music Hall

Drawing on mostly songs from their recent 36 song project “The Color Spectrum” The Dear Hunter put on a great show in the front room of Summit Music Hall that was criminally under attended. While the intimacy was nice, it was staggering how many people missed out on an amazing evening.

Sonic Bloom Festival – June 24th-26th – Shadows Ranch, Georgetown, CO

The new location of Sonic Bloom, on Shadows Ranch in Georgetown, couldn’t have been more ideal for an audience ready to celebrate a weekend of musical and visual bliss. Other than the natural beauty, the festival offered light and art installations, aerialists, fire dancers, hula-hoopers, art galleries, and the overpowering, pulsating lights that blasted the crowd from the Main Stage.
