Posted on June 17, 2013 | No CommentsFor more than 30 years, Jerry Joseph has been strapping on a guitar and chasing down truth, understanding and soul with such tenacity and resonant skill that he's marked as a hard charging kindred spirit to Joe Strummer, Warren Zevon and Patti Smith. Backed by his longtime trio The Jackmormons, this latest chapter in Joseph’s long, strange journey flows like glowing quicksilver through the modern psyche. -

PICK OF THE WEEK: Dawes – Mishawaka & The Gothic – Friday, May 24th & Sunday, May 26th
Posted on May 20, 2013 | No CommentsIt’s been decades since the Southern California sun first breathed life into the Americana-laced rock of acts like The Byrds, The Eagles, Poco, and Jackson Brown in the late ’60s and ’70s. While there has been resurgence of that sound in recent years, one L.A. band has emerged head and shoulders above the rest to carry on the legacy that McGuinn, Henley, Frey, Brown and others helped to define. That band is Dawes. -
