Fresh off the road from their tour opener in Lincoln, Nebraska the guys of .357 String Band were nice enough to let Listen Up Denver’s Levi Macy sit down with them before they tore the stage of The Larimer Lounge apart with their down home roots music. They talked about some of the history of the band, a wild night in Serbia, and the new .357 album that’s in the works.

.357 String Band tore it up in front of a modest crowd at The Larimer Lounge on Monday night. Their sound was an infectious blend of Punk and Bluegrass that had some thinking, “this must be what it would sound like if Earl Scruggs developed a crack problem and began collaborating with Motorhead.”
