Reel Big Fish – January 17th – Gothic Theatre

There’s not much of a buzz circulating about Reel Big Fish in Denver these days–nonetheless, they band has retained an impressive fan-base here over the years and they all came out to the Gothic Theatre on Friday in salute to the band’s “Don’t Stop Skanking” tour. Many were shocked to discover the tickets sold-out well before the doors opened that evening. Though the headlining act’s performance was somewhat abbreviated, it was well-delivered.

Reel Big Fish “Summer of Ska!” – July 19th – The Ogden Theatre

The heat of summer in Denver is a magical time and place to be. It always conjures up memories of friends and family gathering to sip beers and toss Frisbees while taking in the beautiful sunshine of a late July afternoon. Another tradition that has always screamed summer to us is the the seemingly annual Reel Big Fish show. This year’s Summer of Ska! Tour featuring The Maxies, Suburban Legends, Big D & The Kids Table, and Reel Big Fish, did not disappoint.
