The usual suspects were out in full force as super-group Electron brought out fans of The Disco Biscuits, Brothers Past, Lotus, and even The Grateful Dead to a near sold-out Fox Theatre show. This was stop two of a four night Colorado run and anticipation levels were high after the band delivered and electric and memorable one set show in Fort Collins the previous night. The band did not disappoint and delivered a top notch performance despite moving away from the sound most fans have grown accustomed to.
Fort Collins is known worldwide as a beer, biking and music lover’s paradise. The music side of the equation was fulfilled in excellent fashion last weekend as the Infamous Stringdusters 2014 Ski Tour made a stop at the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins for two nights. Since their inception in 2007, the Dusters fan base has continued to multiply with every tour and sold-out performance. Saturday’s show was a whirlwind 28-song marathon that had the packed crowd giddy from the start.
Hometown hero and troubadour Gregory Alan Isakov has been on near constant tour since last July in support of the critically acclaimed ‘The Weatherman;’ a tour on which Isakov managed to squeeze eleven Colorado dates including last week’s string of three nights from the Springs up to Fort Collins.

BoomBox threw a wild dance party on Wednesday night at The Aggie in Fort Collins. With a set that focused on songs from their most recent album, Downriver Electric, as well as new tracks from their upcoming EP, Lost Ya, their wicked blend of electronica, rock, and funk thrilled the packed room.
If you close your eyes, the music of March Fourth Marching Band can carry you from the streets of New Orleans to the streets of Rio de Janeiro and everywhere in between . Their dynamic percussion, plus driving brass, plus steady electric bass, equals a dramatic showcase of sound. The band got the party started out in front of the theatre but they did not stop there.
