Project Aspect – October 6th – Cervantes’ Ballroom

It was one of the coldest nights in the early fall season here in Denver but that did not deter a hoard of concert goers from making their pilgrimage to the hallowed dance floor of Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom to see a diverse line-up headlined by Jay Jaramillo a.k.a. Project Aspect, the local-kid-made-good who recently signed a record deal with STS9’s own 1320 Records and was there to celebrate his sudden ascent to the top echelon of the Denver EDM community.

Josh Ritter Talks Music, Running, and Aphex Twin

The exceptionally talented folk singer/songwriter Josh Ritter will be making two Colorado stops next week – a stop at historic Chautauqua Auditorium next Monday night and the recently saved Mishawaka on Wednesday. Ritter’s shows are always special due to his ability to convey timeless poetic narratives with warm genuine vocals and a smile. We had the pleasure to speak with Josh recently about a handful of topics and were left more excited for the show and a new album.

The Bad Plus – August 10th – Dazzle Jazz

The Bad Plus is in their element in the live setting. Watching these three men work together on stage gives the listener an appreciation for their music that cannot be conveyed solely through a set of speakers. They are wizards of modern jazz and musical treasures who gave yet another outstanding performance last night at Dazzle Jazz in Denver.
