Victor Wooten, known for his solo recordings and tours, and as a member of the Grammy-winning super group, Béla Fleck & The Flecktones, has won most every major award given to a bass guitarist. While he is reason enough to make it out to Cervantes’ on Saturday, the fact that Stephen Bruner aka Thundercat and Garrett Sayers are rounding out the bill makes this a gathering of three of the best bass players around.

Victor Wooten is quite possibly the best bass player in the world. He is an innovator, composer, arranger, lecturer, producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist. He is a skilled naturalist and teacher, a published author, a magician, husband and father of four, and a five-time Grammy award winner. Not only a masterful bass player but also a great showman, whether you are a low end-lover or a music enthusiast in general, this is a must see show!

For many an ideal Easter Sunday evening would be spent around family in the comfort of a living room, but for lovers of all things awesome in the music world, the perfect Easter Sunday would be spent listening to world class musicians blow minds. Luckily for the fine folks of Denver, this opportunity was reality last Sunday when Béla Fleck and The Original Flecktones took over The Ogden Theatre and put on a concert that left many a jaw firmly planted on the floor in complete amazement.
