The Disco Biscuits – April 25, 26, 27 – Boulder Theater & Red Rocks
Posted on May 1, 2013 | No CommentsThere are few bands out there that are more polarizing than Trancefusion Jamband pioneers The Disco Biscuits. Music fans seem to either love or hate them with very few people falling anywhere in between. Coming on the heels of a 3 night Colorado Bisco Inferno run just a few months ago, Bisco lovers were treated to another 3 night run with 2 nights at The Boulder Theater and a headlining spot at the Feed The Rocks event with by RJD2 and Shpongle. -
The Motet – April 20th – Fillmore Auditorium
Posted on April 24, 2013 | No CommentsEvery year in Colorado, April 20 really does feel like a holiday. But this year, with the passage of Amendment 64 last fall, Coloradoans were craving that Rocky Mountain High more than ever. Colfax was packed early in the day, and it definitely seemed like something strange was in the air. For the funky dance band known for its sold-out, psychedelic Halloween shows, the weirdness in the air last Saturday could have resembled one of those late October shows The Motet has been putting on for about a decade. -
Snowball Music Festival – March 8th, 9th, 10th – Winter Park, CO
Posted on March 29, 2013 | No CommentsDriving into Winter Park on Friday afternoon was a 3mph parade of late teens and twenty-somethings already in neon accessories and ski gear, piled six deep in SUV’s on the way to one of the more unique electronic music events in the country, Snowball Music Festival. The police, who vowed to be less aggressive than last year, pulled over cars left and right as we made our way through downtown Winter Park to the condo. It was 4pm and the anticipation had everybody in full party mode before sunset. -

Though this program was originally intended to showcase the music of Texas it has grown exponentially and eventually blossomed into the Austin City Limits Music Festival. It’s only been 11 years, but ACL has gained a reputation as the premiere music lover’s festival and has cemented Austin as the greatest music town in the universe. -
Big Gigantic “Rowdytown” – September 29th – Red Rocks
Posted on October 8, 2012 | No CommentsOn a full moon night in early Autumn the young and the restless made their last Red Rocks appearance of the summer. The young crowd was decked out in full regalia and looking to cap off the epic summer of concerts on The Rocks. There was major buzz surrounding the headliner, local heroes Big Gigantic, and the touted visual display. The energy was palpable and the stage was set for a fantastic finish to the summer concert season. -
Ryan Bingham – September 29th – The Ogden
Posted on October 4, 2012 | 1 CommentDespite what Big Gigantic was doing up at Red Rocks, The Ogden was "Rowdytown" on Saturday night. Cowboy Hats and big hair dotted the packed the room and the sweet smell of Whiskey filled the air as Country fans rubbed shoulders with Rock-n-Rollers. It's been about a year and a half since Ryan Bingham brought his outlaw sounds to Denver and the big box on stage emblazoned with the words "Welcome To The Fist Fight" signaled we were in for a rowdy show well before the former Professional Bull Rider and his new band took the stage. -
