Blake Mobley’s Tiger Party has been a funky fixture of the Colorado music scene for some time now. But 2016 has been be a watershed year for the big cat collective. Longtime collaborator Ashley Niven joined Blake as a permanent member. Together the two lead the cosmic revolving door of stellar musicians that has come to define Tiger Party’s ever-changing and unique sound.

David Murphy (formerly of STS9) returns to Cervantes’ this Friday with his Pink Floyd tribute “Pigs on the Wing,” which features a plethora of talent from a myriad of musical backgrounds. The band provides audiences with an interpretation of Floyd that harkens back to the early 70s “Live At Pompeii” sound and they surely have something special in store for hard core Floyd heads and music lovers alike.
