How would you like it if there were only one or two radio stations to listen to? No reason to flip the radio dial to the left or the right, just two big corporations deciding what you should listen to. Musical diversity disappearing as air time is dedicated to what is popular. Local and new music minimized in lieu of market research vetted artists that we should all “like”.

The Walnut Room was packed for an acoustic night of music played by some of Punk Rock’s greatest doing a full night of acoustic performances. Several drunks were shushed during the show as it was a quiet room and at times hard to hear the performers over them. Despite the annoyance, the laid-back audience didn’t seem to care too much, they were just happy to see the Punk Rock superstar Joey Cape live in a piano bar or singer/songwriter type of setting rather than a raucous Punk club.
