EOTO – December 13th – Ogden Theatre

EOTO’s performance art and 3D spectacle of the year, Outer Orbit, concluded in the city that helped them be who they are today. Debuting at the first Sonic Bloom, EOTO has built a large following since their 2006 coming out. Hailing from Colorado and California, the duo consists of The String Cheese Incident’s Michael Travis and Jason Hann and what they have created has pushed the creative limits of what seasoned musicians can think to do. Once again, the Ogden stage proved to be enough space for them to live out their fantasy.

SnowBall Music Festival – April 6th – Sports Authority Field

Although the layout of the 2014 SnowBall Festival was ill-conceived and the crowd was ridiculously young in age and experience, there were several dominating performances on Sunday that reaffirmed why the SnowBall Festival deserves to occupy a permanent spot on the Colorado concert calendar. The Juan McLean delivered an excellent Deep House set and Busta Rhymes, a true legend, took the crowd back to the golden age of Hip-Hop; all in all, it was a great night.

Lotus – September 8th – Red Rocks Amphitheatre

It’s been over a year since Lotus stole the show on a bill with The Glitch Mob at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. This time they returned in full force as the headliner at one of the last and most anticipated shows of the legendary venue’s summer concert series. It was a show that mined the depths of the Lotus catalog and revealed a stunning new cover that served as one of many peeks of an outrageously high energy show and poured even more fuel on the fire under this massive dance party.
