Shpongle – May 10th – Red Rocks

From the moment the set started with the eerie, toy piano like sounds of “Brain In a Fishtank,” the opening track of Shpongle’s most recent album Museum of Consciousness, it was clear this show was going to be something special. The energy that was radiating through the crowd was nothing short of magical and everyone were bound together in the cool damp confines of one of the most spectacular venues on earth to witness the kind of spectacle that legends are made of.

All controversy about guns, religion, and lateness aside, Madonna put on a truly amazing performance at The Pepsi Center last week. From the EDM influenced tracks off her recent release ‘MDNA,’ to classics like “Like A Prayer” and “Vogue,” she delivered a concert that gave fans a great overview of her storied career without letting them forget that she is The Queen of Pop. When all was said and done, it was a true celebration and without a doubt one of the most impressive concerts we have ever experienced.
