Estimated read time 5 min read

When Huey Lewis took the stage with only a harmonica in hand, he introduced himself by saying “I’m Huey Lewis and this . . . is The News,” and quickly proved that “The Heart of Rock and Roll” is indeed still beating as they tore into the band’s 1984 hit. With Lewis fronting a ten piece band they delivered a solid show that featured many of the hits that his fans know and love. Was it one of the all time great shows? No. But was it worth the trip down to Englewood? For sure!!!

KISS & Mötley Crüe – August 15th – Comfort Dental Amphitheatre

Estimated read time 3 min read

Vince Neil, Tommy Lee, and the rest of the Crue were up first and pulled out all the stops with spinning drum sets, aerialists, and, of course, pretty girls, and then KISS brought the house down with a spectacle of massive proportions. From the costumes to a zip-line that carried Paul Stanley over the crowd, it was nothing short of spectacular.
