Make no mistake, the Fox Street Allstars reek of the roadhouses and West Texas honky-tonks of the Deep South that inspired their signature sound. The band brings an all-out-party to every show by pouring their hearts and souls into every note. No one really has any idea where front man Jonathan “Skippy” Huvard channels his soulful, whiskey soaked vocals and frenetic stage presence but the result is a blistering powerhouse of sound.

For the last four years the Fox Street All Stars have had the honor of not only hosting the official Galactic After Show Party, but also of having Galactic drummer Stanton Moore sit-in with them for several numbers. Last year Joey Porter, Lyrics Born, and Tony Hall joined the band and with folks like Corey Glover, DJ Logic, and Corey Henry in town this year, you never know who else might turn up at Pete’s and help funk the place up a bit!

Galactic is bringing Mardi Gras to the Mountains yet again. It may be a little late this year, but they are going huge to make up for it. The show will feature Galactic with and Special Guests Lyrics Born, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Cyril Neville, and Corey Henry. California’s up and coming funk visionaries Orgone will open the show.
