Telluride Blues & Brews is always a one-of-a-kind weekend in paradise, but with bluebird skies, beautiful weather, and a notable line-up, this year was special. While it’s tough to complain about anything when in Telluride, stellar sets from the likes of Don Bryant, Marcus King Band, Monophonics, Gov’t Mule, and Robert Plant really pushed this one over the top!

Way more than just a single stage, the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival features over 50 shows, with more than 30 artists on 3 stages, 5 late night venues and more. Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite, Booker T’s Stax Revue, and Samantha Fish headline the first day full day of the festival on Friday. Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, JJ Grey & Mofro, and The Marcus King Band top Saturday’s performances. Gov’t Mule, Anders Osborne and Valerie June take us home on Sunday.

Drive-By Truckers – January 14th – Ogden Theatre

When Drive-By Truckers took over The Ogden for two nights this past weekend, they brought with them the politically charged attitude of their most recent album, ‘American Band,’ and the blistering Southern Rock attitude that fans have come to know and love. With a set that spanned more than two hours, touched on eight of their albums, and even showcased a brilliant version of Neil Young’s “Rockin’ In The Free World” to close things out, The Truckers delivered!
