Saturday marked the first of two sold out nights at one of Denver’s most lavish venues, the 2,225 seat Ellie Caulkins Opera House. It was surprisingly the perfect home to a night of cynical lyrics matched with the sass, feminine dance moves and energy that makes Father John Misty such an outstanding performer.

Ben Harper brought his one-man acoustic show to Ellie Caulkins Opera House this past weekend and dazzled a sold-out crowd with a 27 song performance that included hits like “Diamonds On The Inside” and “Burn One Down” alongside some deeper cuts and riveting stories. The multi-instrumentalist showed off his skills on a variety of instruments include banjo, acoustic and electric guitar and piano. It was an intimate night with one of the most popular artists in the world.
