Local Natives – April 26th – Ogden Theatre

A polite crowd of texting teens and twenty-somethings gathered at the Ogden Theatre on Friday to experience the sound of Local Natives, a sound that was relaxed but exuberant, with a driving but hazy tenor to it. The group delivered a noteworthy performance as fans used their various social outlets to share their excitement for the event. It was amusing on several levels, to say the least.

Grizzly Bear – August 6th – Ogden Theatre

The loud crowd of hip twenty-somethings chatted and drank beer as they anticipated of the return of acclaimed Brooklyn Indie-Rockers Grizzly Bear last Wednesday night at the Ogden. It had been six and a half years, three albums, and a huge growth in popularity since the band last played in Denver at Larimer Lounge in 2007. Their beautifully dreamy vocals floated through hazy strobes and landed, well balanced, in our ears as the band delivered a great show.
