The anticipation couldn’t have been greater in the moments before Judas Priest took the stage at the 1stBank Center. To get the crowd going, Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” played over the speakers and every person in attendance started singing along. Shortly after, the lights went down, the curtain was dropped, and the crowd went nuts as vocalist Rob Halford’s voice rang out over the PA.

In the shadow of Coors Field, and just down the street from the Denver Rescue Mission lies the Marquis Theater.
