The National – September 17th – Red Rocks Amphitheatre

After months of hype and anticipation, a warm, clear night fell on fans in their twenties all the way to their forties who filled Red Rocks to over three quarters full as The National rang in Fall with one of the last Red Rocks shows of the year. They were joined by two opening bands worthy of fanfare themselves, Frightened Rabbit and Local Natives, whose outstanding sets set the stage for a magical evening with the dark giants of indie-rock.

Arcade Fire – April 9th – 1st Bank Center

The Arcade Fire kicked off their 2011 US tour in Broomfield with a show that was nothing short of spectacular and left everyone wanting more. The “greatest hits” style set featured songs from all three of their albums, trademark antics and a true rock and roll vibe that proved why the band is one being featured on some of the biggest stages in the world right now.
