Wilco – September 14th – Red Rocks Amphitheatre

It’s always a treat to catch Wilco anywhere, but Red Rocks (or “Rust Rocks” as Jeff Tweedy said was a little more appropriate) makes it that much more special. With the incomparable Margo Price handling opening duties, this was an incredible night on The Rocks!

Margo Price – February 21st – Bluebird Theater

Margo Price has earned her place as one of the most buzzworthy independent country music stars to emerge in the last few years. Late last year, she released her second record on Jack White’s Third Man Records, has played just about every TV show you can imagine, and has been universally praised, often by places that tend to overlook Country Music. Her current tour includes three nights at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird here in Denver.

Telluride Bluegrass Festival – June 15, 16, 17, 18 – Telluride Town Park

On Thursday, June 15th, the main street of Colorado’s most captivating town, was abuzz with an energy and excitement as the crowds (some there for days) made their way to Town Park for the start of the 45th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival. There is no better setting for a music festival; there is no better music for such a setting.
