Andy Palmer has worn many hats and walked many roads as he followed the paths that have provided him with deep subject matter for the poetic lyrics on his second full length album ‘Hazard of the Die.’ Although a guitar has always remained by his side, Palmer spent years with other pursuits in the forefront. Whether he was guiding a raft down a river, steering a courtroom as a public defender, or navigating the inner workings of the mind while, Palmer’s experiences are invaluable when it comes to his songwriting.
Wakarusa – Mulberry Mountain, AR – Part 2
It’s time for Part Two of the wonderful and wacky world of Wakarusa! Days three and four of the festival featured music from everyone from Matisyahu to Big Gigantic and while there were several massive thunderstorms, they didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the crowd or our team of reviewers and photographers. Saturday morning kicked-off with a potluck breakfast and by the time Sunday evening’s epic rainstorm rolled around our team was already planning for next year!
G. Love Talks The Avett Brothers & Colorful Colorado
Fifteen albums and almost twenty years have passed since G. Love & Special Sauce was the house band at The Plough and Stars in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Garrett Dutton (aka G. Love) and his band’s enthusiasm for playing music and constant touring have steadily built a large and well deserved fan base across the country. You can catch their brand of Hip-Hop Blues this Saturday March 10th at The Ogden Theatre, or later this month on March 22nd at the Bud Light Street Beat in Vail.

Matisyahu – December 17th – The Ogden Theatre
When Matisyahu took the stage on Saturday at The Ogden, the diversity of his vocal range could only be matched by the diversity of the crowd. Fans young, old, black, white, clean shaven, dreaded, and everything in between seemed to be in the same breathless awe throughout the Reggae stars mesmerizing performance as his new backing band, Dub Trio, breathed new life into classic songs like “Darkness Into Light” and “Youth” with their powerful wall of sound.
