The first – of hopefully many – Denver Comes Alive events took place last Friday at the beautiful Mission Ballroom. A steady buzz around this evening had been building for months, so it was no surprise that the show ended up selling out.

Robby Peoples may not have a degree in music, but he is certainly a scholar of Rhythm and Blues. Whiskey, pills, and shotguns fuel the stories sung by Peoples, and Denver’s favorite sons, The Congress, throw a dangerous amount of dynamite into the already explosive mix. This Friday and Saturday Peoples and The Congress will resume their fiery collaboration at Quixote’s True Blue. Don’t miss this show!
