moe.peners: Yamn & The Congress – 11/30 & 12/1 – The Ogden

Estimated read time 5 min read

The sidewalks leading to The Ogden Theatre were packed this past weekend, not only because moe. was in town for a two-night run, but because a pair of Colorado’s favorite bands were opening the shows. The lines to get in the door started early and, on both nights, the theater was packed from the pit to the balcony for the duration. It’s not easy task to win over a room full of inpatient jamband fans, but both these bands did it by playing their hearts out and we are proud they call Denver home!

Estimated read time 4 min read

We are still looking for reasons as to why the crowd wasn’t bigger at Cervantes’ Other Side for Rodina’s show last week. While there were a handful of fresh faces in the crowd, the medium-sized audience wasn’t enough of a showing of gratitude for the awesome music Rodina cranked out all night.

We had the opportunity to sit down with Umphrey’s Keyboard player, Joel Cummins, late this summer to talk about the band’s new sUMmer school, their work with Huey Lewis, and, of course, their upcoming show at Red Rocks with Railroad Earth.

moe. – February 11th – The Boulder Theater

Estimated read time 3 min read

It was a cold, crisp walk from the car to the Boulder Theater this past Saturday as the eclectic crowd for the evening’s moe. show filed in to the magnificent old theater. Moe.rons and Deadheads were not the only ones shelling out $40+ for an evening of psychedelic, jamtastic, groovin’ on the dance floor. On the contrary, folks from all walks of life seemed to have come out of the woodwork for an opportunity to dance the night away with some of the best in the business.
