This year’s installment of Telluride Bluegrass Festival saw a multitude of new acts and many mainstays. Sam Bush – April 6th – Quixotes’

Estimated read time 5 min read

On Friday night, Quixotes’ was packed with hippies, flannel shirts, and grey haired music lovers from all walks of life who all came out to see the “King of Telluride,” Sam Bush. The entire venue was wall to wall all the way out the door towards the patio and there were even a few folks standing on the couches near the back and craning their necks for a better view. Greensky Bluegrass – February 8th – The Bluebird Theatre

Estimated read time 6 min read

Greensky Bluegrass raged for a packed house on Wednesday night at The Bluebird Theater here in the Jamgrass capital of the world…sunny Colorado! The crowd was surprisingly diverse and no one was acting like it was a Wednesday night. The beer flowed, the brains fried, and the Banjo rang-out like there was no tomorrow. There is an outlaw element to Greensky’s sound as they blend roots and jam while not sacrificing musicianship for speed to create one of the most mature sounds in the Jamgrass genre.

On Saturday, the boys put their best foot forward and gave a show full of raging peaks, massive sandwiches, and even a Radiohead cover.

Greensky Bluegrass “Totally Bitchin’ 80’s” – October 31st – The Fox Theatre

Estimated read time 5 min read

The Greensky Bluegrass 80’s themed Halloween party rocked the Fox on Monday as they turned the music from what is arguably one of the coolest decades into a good ole fashioned barn burnin’ hoedown. It was one of the most unique takes on a Halloween costume we have ever witnessed and it most certainly made for a “Totally Bitchin’ 80s Dance Party” that most will not be forgetting anytime soon.
