Telluride Blues & Brews – September 12th, 13th, 14th – Telluride, CO

Estimated read time 15 min read

The Telluride Blues & Brews Festival is a one-of-a-kind music meets beer experience. Sure there are festivals all summer long in this idyllic little mountain town, but none of them blend two things so suited for each other: world class Blues music and world class beer. While it’s a must-see bucket-list trip for a lover of either of the festival’s main attractions, it’s also the kind of place that welcomes newbies with open arms, full glasses, and three solid days of music.

With the talents of Producer Richard Swift and the lyrical genius of Aaron “Gene Ween” Freeman in his pocket, Benevento’s latest masterpiece is a graduation of his previous efforts–with the same sound that fans have come to love, but also an added lyrical seriousness. Give it a listen and go check out Benevento at the 1up Colfax this weekend.

Estimated read time 2 min read

Justin Vernon, AKA Bon Iver, has built up a very impressive fan base in the last 3 or 4 years with a hushed Alt-Folk catalog that has earned him praise in many music magazines, and even some good hearted ribbing on Saturday Night Live courtesty of Justin Timberlake. His last gig in Denver was a headlining show at The Ogden, and this week he will be headlining Red Rocks after playing several high profile gigs at festivals like Coachella and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
