The Congress is a Virginia-based four-piece, equal parts rock & roll, old-school soul, and outlaw country. Founded by Scott Lane and Jonathan Meadows, the band falls under the influence of the diverse music of their hometown of Richmond, where the spirit of soul music prevails with infusions of jazz, punk rock, and Appalachia. The Congress return to Colorado supported by Megan Burtt and Patrick Dethlefs making this a night of must see music!

Folks Festival – August 15th-17th – Planet Bluegrass, Lyons, CO

The Folks Festival at Planet Bluegrass Ranch in Lyons, CO has always marked a high-point of the summer for many music fans, but last year, in early September, one of the most destructive floods Colorado had ever seen swept through the pristine grounds all but destroying this summer haven. Justin Townes Earle – June 16th – Mishawaka Amphitheatre

The snowmelt-filled Poudre River roared down the canyon and behind the stage at the scenic Mishawaka Amphitheatre last Saturday night. The crowd of college kids, older cowboys and mountain men and their sundress clad girlfriends showed up early to enjoy beer and a nice summer evening. The rugged stage and buildings that surrounded it looked and smelled like the dinning hall at a summer camp with a little less bug spray and a lot more beer.
