  • Bob Seger stopped into Denver on Tuesday night with veteran rocker, and longtime Eagle, Joe Walsh in tow. We were only approved for a photo pass, so here are some images from what was surely a great night of classic rock from one of the masters of the genre. Apparently he treated the crowd to many of the radio staples in his catalog including "Mainstreet," "Old Time Rock & Roll," "Like A Rock," and "We've Got Tonight" but it was a cover of Wilco's "California Stars" that really surprised us to read about.

  • Monday night saw one of the most anticipated concerts of the year hit the Pepsi Center and it wasn't some veteran performer taking the stage, it was a teenager by the name of Justin Bieber. The crowd that swarmed the arena was 80% teenage girls and the shrieking that filled the air at the very mention of the words "Justin" or "Bieber" was deafening. Frankly, it was reminiscent of some of the footage out there of The Beatles in the 60's as they ran through screaming mobs of young women.

  • Last Thursday, the Red Hot Chili Peppers finally made it to Denver to play the show that was rescheduled from way back in March when Anthony Kiedis was forced to have surgery on his foot. While guitarist Josh Klinghoffer was the one in a foot cast this time around, the show went on as planned and by all accounts they rocked The Can with a monster show that fans had been waiting a long time for. While reports were that the room sounded pretty good, the energy was diluted a bit without a sweaty crush of bodies pressing up against the stage.

  • On Tuesday night the Pepsi Center was home to two legendary monsters of glam metal, Poison and Def Leppard, on the “Rock of Ages” tour. The 20,000 seat arena was filled with a sea of spouses dressed in Levi’s and Def Leppard t-shirts fresh from the merch stands. The stage was cloaked in black as 80’s rocker Lita Ford shredded and screamed while folks found their seats.

  • Dave Grohl and his band mates exploded onto the Pepsi Center stage to a deafening roar just a few minutes past nine and launched right into "Bridge Burning," the opening track of their most recent album, Wasting Light and they didn't slow down for more than 2 and half hours. Was it the best show ever, no, clearly not, but it was entertaining. It was a true arena rock show that took advantage of the space and the considerable resources that were available.
