Josh Ritter Talks Music, Running, and Aphex Twin

Estimated read time 9 min read

The exceptionally talented folk singer/songwriter Josh Ritter will be making two Colorado stops next week – a stop at historic Chautauqua Auditorium next Monday night and the recently saved Mishawaka on Wednesday. Ritter’s shows are always special due to his ability to convey timeless poetic narratives with warm genuine vocals and a smile. We had the pleasure to speak with Josh recently about a handful of topics and were left more excited for the show and a new album.

Estimated read time 12 min read

Listen Up Denver! got to sit down with Cline as the band was in the midst of their spring tour. He had just crawled out of his bunk on a tour bus in southern Alabama and was sipping coffee as he stared out the window at the band’s crew playing football outside. Punch Brothers – March 12th – The Bluebird Theatre

Estimated read time 5 min read

Punch Brothers have a special place in the hearts of Colorado bluegrass lovers, and their Monday night performance at The Bluebird Theatre felt as if it were in front of a home-town crowd. Telluride Bluegrass is probably one of the most important catalysts in connecting Colorado with this progressive five-piece, and the festival was also an integral part in the formation of the band itself. In that sense, I guess you could say that Colorado helped give birth to Punch Brothers, and we should be able to claim them as our own in some way.
