Guns N’ Roses – August 2nd – Sports Authority Field at Mile High

Estimated read time 5 min read

Wednesday night at Mile High there was an interesting mix of long term G N’ R fans, middle aged music fans and suburbanites dressed for a night on the town. While they may not still be writing anthems like Paradise City or Welcome To The Jungle, they sure can perform them and delight their fans with a true rock and roll show.

Despite having to deal with a pretty heavy pre-show dose of rain and an insanely drunk crowd, the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Famers delivered a hit filled, high energy show that left ears ringing for a few days after the fact.

Guns N’ Roses – December 11th – 1st Bank Center

Estimated read time 6 min read

Guns N’ Roses marathon show at the 1st Bank Center was nothing short of over-the-top . . . in every way. From the stage set-up, to the three guitar attack, to the three hour set time, to the 34 song setlist, Axl Rose did it his way. When all was said and done I would say that ended up enjoying about half the show and on the drive home I did my best to figure out how to get that other hour and half of my life back. I have one word for you Mr. Rose: “Edit.”
