Slayer – May 10th – Fillmore Auditorium

Estimated read time 4 min read

The Fillmore played host on Saturday night to a trio of bands as well as a raucous crowd of concert goers ready to explode to some hard-hitting Heavy Metal. Though no one would be so bold as to call Exodus or Suicidal Tendencies “opening acts,” the two Cali-based bands did a great job warming up the crowd at the Fillmore–by the time Slayer hit the stage, the crowd was collectively foaming at the mouth. In the end, Slayer blew the crowd away, reminding fans and critics alike why they have managed to retain a fan base for 30+ years.
