Taylor Swift – July 14th – Empower Field at Mile High

Taylor Swift’s Eras World Tour made its much-anticipated stop at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, and it was nothing short of a seismic event. Governor Polis penned an open letter to fans about the implications of 150,000 people descending on the downtown stadium as world leaders were begging Swift to visit their countries (and economies). As some of the lucky 73,000 attendees on the first night of the two-night extravaganza, we can confidently say that this was an experience of a lifetime for all the Taylor Swift fans who were able to secure tickets.

Billy Joel – September 16th – Pepsi Center

Billy Joel played an enchanting show this past Wednesday night at the Pepsi Center. The New-York bred musician brought together people of all ages who could be heard cheering and swooning like preteens at a Taylor Swift concert. The scene was pleasant and filled with people who were giddy to see the wonderful Entertainer. It was truly a night to remember, filled with classics and goosebumps galore. If you haven’t seen Billy Joel in concert, put it on your bucket list!

Taylor Swift – September 6th – Pepsi Center

The Pepsi Center was bubbling over with adolescent energy Sunday night during Taylor Swift’s second sold-out night of her 1989 World Tour. Miniature Taylor Swifts in bright red lipstick and wayfarers waited in long lines for merch, photo booths, and various sponsored photos ops with large photos of their idol. They also carried homemade signs quoting Taylor’s lyrics or professing their love. The pop superstar brought a high-energy, high-production show filled with dancers, her hits, and enough talent to justify the ticket price.

Vance Joy – November 22nd – Bluebird Theater

The Bluebird Theater hosted budding singer-songwriter Vance Joy this past Saturday night. The show had been sold-out for several months and it was apparent once Vance Joy started to strum his first note that the sell-out was justified. Even though the venue was packed, it was easy to catch a glimpse of the rising star who belted out his hand-written love songs to a swooning crowd before he hits the road with Taylor Swift in the coming year.
