Telluride Blues & Brews – September 16, 17, 18 – Telluride, CO

The 23rd annual Telluride Blues & Brews festival took over Telluride Town Park this year with one of the best line-ups in it’s history. Right from the get-go things were on fire on the brand new Fred Shellman Memorial Stage with the Telluride debut of Con Brio showcasing one of the more talked about sets of the weekend. From the first notes to the last, this festival was one for the ages!

The thing about The Polish Ambassador is that whether or not all of his fans are familiar with the beats he drops, one thing’s for sure – they’re all familiar with the positive vibes filling the air at every one of his shows. This was truer than ever on Friday night, as the night centered on a cause dear to Polish, Permaculture. The Permaculture Action Network connects the community by empowering people with the tools needed to live earth-based practices and bring about a regenerative way of living.

Telluride Blues & Brews has grown from a niche, genre specific festival to one of the countries most well respected destination festivals. It has steadily gained recognition and the lineups are well thought out and hard hitting. If you are a lover of Blues based music, Funk, Soul, Rock, and Jazz then this is the festival for you. Congrats to Steve Gumbel on 20 years of realizing a vision, and thank you to Bill Kight, Courtney McClarey and the rest of the SBG Productions crew for making it all happen. We will see you next year, rain or shine.

Day two of the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival features The Grand Tasting, where thousands of concert goers swill free craft beer for hours, in order to determine the best beer in the box canyon that Saturday. Mud splattered and squished as festival goers wet their whistles with the wares of over 50 craft Breweries. We are excited to say that our buddies over at Telluride Brewing Company were the “Best of Fest-Grand Tasting Champions” this year!!!
