Fox Street All Stars “Galactic After Parties” – March 16th & 17th – Pete’s Monkey Bar

Fox Street All Stars have been hosting their annual Galactic After Parties for four years now and with people coming in off the street, stumbling in from Galactic, and core group of local musician friends hanging by the stage, the room was bubbling with excitement. While the crowd was a little lighter on Friday, people were dancing and singing along with Fox Street originals and some stellar covers on both evenings.

Fox Street All Stars Talk Their Annual Galactic After Parties

For four years now, Fox Street All Stars have been funkin’ it up into the wee hours of the morning at Pete’s Monkey Bar after the Galactic Mile High Mardi Gras throwdown at The Fillmore. This year things have changed a bit. While Fox Street will still be setting up shop at Pete’s, Galactic has moved a few blocks East on Colfax to The Ogden Theatre and they have stretched the party out to two nights. As expected, Fox Street followed suit and will be holding court this weekend at Pete’s on both Friday and Saturday nights.

SunSquabi Talks Wakarusa and Electronic Hydro Funk

Producer and guitarist Kevin Donahue, and bassist Andrew Clymer, have played in countless bands together over the last several years, including a recent stint performing with Bizzy Bone from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, but they grew tired of playing other people’s songs. Looking for something new, they ended up forming Electronic Hydro Funk band SunSquabi. The Waka Winter Classic Comes To Colorado This Week

The anticipation for the summer festival season couldn’t be any higher than during these long winter months.
