Music brings people to Colfax and is helping to re-establish it as Denver’s true main street. So, keep those bar and venue doors open and continue to fill Colfax with music the likes of Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls.

A healthy mix of hipsters, punk rockers, curious newcomers to the sound, and seasoned vets all showed up to The Fox Theatre on the 17th when Punk Rock / Mariachi hybrid, Mariachi El Bronx came to town on the back end of an eclectic double bill that was rounded out by the emotionally charged gritty rock duo Two Gallants who put on a great show. Both bands were loud, full of passion, and threw together some of the best sets of music we’ve seen in a long time.
