The Greyboy Allstars – April 12th & 13th – Cervantes’ Ballroom
Posted on April 18, 2013 | No CommentsLast weekend The Greyboy Allstars came straight out of the 70's on a groove of Funk, Soul, and Jazz. The band was in town supporting their new album, 'Inland Emperor,' which dropped this week, and the crowd filled in fast and early at Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom on both Friday and Saturday nights. Supported by Dumpstaphunk on Friday night and Denver’s own The Congress on Saturday, it was a weekend of unforgettable music, and luckily all three bands have new albums out to keep the party going. -
Zen Mustache – December 1st – Jamestown Mercantile
Posted on December 7, 2012 | No CommentsThe mention of a “cover band” often conjures up images of old dudes with long hair, bandannas and black leather vests unsuccessfully attempting to bring back the 80s. That said, one night of solid tunes at the strangely beautiful and exceptionally unique venue known as the Jamestown Mercantile by Boulder-based band Zen Mustache, and our views on cover bands were changed forever. This show was a lampshade-shaking good time. -
The Dukes of September – July 10th – The Paramount Theatre

This is a band, not just a trio of stars and back line support, and that cohesiveness was evident in their performance last week. As they played everyone present realized how lucky they were to be in the beautiful confines of the Paramount. Though the show flirted with nostalgia, The Dukes of September delivered entertainment in its purest form. -
