On Sunday night, a handful of Colorado’s most popular and well respected artists got together with the one and only Dave Matthews to stage a Flood Benefit concert at 1st Bank Center in Broomfield. The evening featured sets from Nathaniel Rateliff, The Fray, DeVotchKa, Dave Matthews, The Lumineers, and Big Head Todd & The Monsters.

The Fray – May 11th – Red Rocks Amphitheatre

While most of the audience was blown away by the alternative boy band on the stage, the performance Mother Nature was giving was giving them a run for their money. While there is never a time when Red Rocks is anything less than majestic, the fog rolling over the rocks and dropping on to the crowd like a dancing ghost was nothing short of amazing. Don’t get us wrong, we were actively listening to the music, it’s just that we felt more connected to the fog than The Fray.

On Saturday Night U2 brought their massive 360 Tour to Invesco Field at Mile High and Listen Up Denver! was there with more than 80,000 other people for the historic show as U2 proved why they are the biggest rock band on the planet. Most fans that had packed the massive stadium found exactly what they were looking for and U2 proved that all that the hype that has surrounded this tour for two years is more than justified.
