Wild Lives – April 22nd – Lion’s Lair

Estimated read time 2 min read

Up and coming Denver band Wild Lives took the Lion’s Lair stage on Friday night just days after their front-man, Hans Meyer, was featured on the cover of The Westword for his outstanding work with Denver’s immigrant population. Though he, and the rest of the band, are consummate professionals during the week, what they put on display on Saturday night would make any Punk rocker from the CBGB’s scene of the late 70’s or early 80’s proud.

Not sure if Devo founding member Jerry Casales really had this in mind when they came up with the design or not, but I can tell you that the line to get in was abuzz with energy and anticipation for the night’s show.
