Toots Hibbert may be a living legend, but Anders Osborne may well have been the main draw on Saturday night. He was the one we went to see, and an audience member shared that same thought during the set. When Osborne was talking about what an honor it was to be sharing the stage with one of his idols, someone yelled out, “Where here for you Anders!,” and although it may not have been appropriate to shout that out…we agreed.

Down-home roots, rock and soul artist JJ Grey and his band Mofro will celebrate the release of his first-ever live DVD/CD two-disc set, Brighter Days, with a live performance at the Fillmore Auditorium this Friday with long time friends Toots and the Maytals.
