The String Cheese Incident – Sunday, July 17 – Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Estimated read time 4 min read

It was a great afternoon for some Cheese on the Rocks. The golden summer sun slanted down from the west with no hint of rain, and a cool breeze swept over the storied amphitheater. With his new record, ‘And the War Came,’ he extends the ground—emotionally and sonically—broken by his 2011 self-released debut album, Roll the Bones. Rounding out this amazing bill is The Wood Brothers so don’t miss this show!

Hunter, however, is pushing the boundaries of R&B by upending the genre’s normal tropes and motifs while still somehow operating within them.
